From our inception, Sutti Associates has been a design-build company. Our close coordination between general contractor, architect and client has helped us complete our new store and remodeling projects with exceptional cohesiveness.

Since 1999 Steve Berringer has been managing Sutti Associates construction department. Having worked with Sutti Associates since its inception in 1976, Steve understands the unique requirements associated with building and remodeling grocery stores.

Due to the increasing complexity associated with the numerous departments within a modern day retail store, the complete understanding of the internal and external mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC is critical to properly and efficiently build the store.

In particular, service deli departments of many retail grocery stores have evolved into kitchens with ovens, rotisseries, cookers and many other types of restaurant food service equipment. The ability of our construction department to interact with our design, architectural and equipment departments lessens the time and improves the flow of information to finish jobs on time.

Our company has focused its construction projects primarily in the Northern California market but since 2004 it has enlarged its territory to include other areas.
